HEaven-like III

Hey, let's continue with my Sydney third day trip if not Kelly might have slaughter me in the middle of night for not posting it. The next post then only will be saying what I did for the past few days.

So the third day of Sydney, I am again supposed to wake up early in the morning and went for morning swim with the others but, due to the extreme tiredness we had the day before, everyone overslept. I wasn't overslept just too lazy to wake up. By the tie we are done and get ready, it's time for me to meet Kelly. YAY.....Finally can see her after waiting for so long, that's another reason why I am in Sydney, Kelly.

The funny thing about us is, I mixed up the place where we supposed to meet each other, MacDonalds. I thought there is only one MacDonalds near by Meriton but actually there is lots. So all the calling and waiting process took us for half an hour just to see each other and give each other a big big big big big hug....So sweet....

Then we went for curry in the morning for breakfast. I was craving for curry ever since I am in Australia, I mean those really spicy that you can only get in Malaysia. The curry smells good~~ Without wasting much time, we start our shopping journey. This the first time I really shop and race with time. We have to go around all the places and there is not much time left for us, as I need to catch bus by 6pm to go back Canberra.

See what we had bought for the whole day walk...... That was so so so tiring with raining day somemore@.@

This is the first jumper that I saw then I love it already...I somemore think twice whether I should buy or not. But since that I am in Sydney already and I am not going to shop much in Canberra, so I said bye to 35 dollars..

The main reason I am doing shopping in Sydney is I wanted to get winter cloths for myself. Winter is coming and yet I am not prepared for it. So this jumbo jumper became my WINTER collection....

I love white. That is why when I saw this I like it already but maybe not that crazy yet...Just a normal shopping bag which cost me 20 dollars....hehe quite worth it? You like it?

Cardigan #1 in my cabinet...

Nowadays I don't know why but I like strips alots but stil checker is still my favourite.... This shirt looks so cool..

Deng deng deng deng deng... The most meaningful and the best one I have bought in Sydney is this bag. Me and Kelly both own one. This is our friendship bag according to her. We like this bag very very much until we are crazy enough to keep posing with the bag in front of the mirror considering want to buy or not. Ended up, we broke....... But we appreciate the bag soooo much and of course it means we appreciate each other as well. Right Kelly? Knew you going to love it.

Well, in between of our shopping race, we did stopped by for some light high tea. We went to this cupcake shop which sells very very cute cupcake and their cupcakes were nice too especially with chocolate.... The first thing you will say when you actually wat that is 'Oh My Godddd!!'

Mine is choc brownie at the left...Kelly's blackforest at the right... YUmmmy....

Let's get on the feast!!!

Pretty Kelly with her best ever friend....Muakzzz

Haha. Other than cupcakes, there is this place in Sydney which is so famous for their egg tarts. EGG TARTs!! My favourite, I knew the existence of this place before I came, that is why I am craving for it since the first day. It's been so long I never eat egg tarts except for second day when we went and had dimsum, I had tarts there too. Unfortunately, I forget to take any photos for that, I think because I can't wait to eat already. The tart was really nice, but as Kelly said if it's hot it would be perfect. Right beside the tarts selling shop, there is this creme puff also very very very very very nice... This time the puffs were really hot, it burnt my tougue!!!

After the whole day walk, I finally get back to Meriton to meet up with my others friend and get ready to head back to the dull boring Canberra. Today was a great day for me, I can even smile widely alone for nothing. But the most annoying part happened when I got on to the bus. I was sitting at the back alone, the last row of the bus. There was this couple sitting in front of me, and giving me free show throughout the whole night. I was like what the hell and got so irritated by them. Don't think aside, they were just kissing and hugging each other. But their kissing wasn't silence kissing, I can hear them kissing so loud even when I am napping. Not only that, they somemore keep pushing the chair towards the back and I was awake thoudsand times because of that. How annoyed I am... My face was so so black after I came down from the bus, that's what my friend realized and told me.

ARghhhh, my day just spoilt by this unknown stupid couple!! I somemore under 18 now.... Better get home and wash my eyes and rest........

Emotionious

I am supposed to post about the third day I had in Sydney with Kelly but I am seriously don't really have time to post and upload any photos about it. I am so busy preparing for my exams and stressing over it. Sorry Kelly for making you wait so long yet today I am still not going to post anything about it. I think the next post will do. Really hope so. Sorry Kelly. Now, suddenly I felt emo that is why I am writing this post here without any pictures.

Life should be getting better for me in Australia after the Sydney trip, where me and others friends started to get close with each other. However, I still feel that there is something missing. During the holiday, what I did is just go library study, reached home have my meals, online then sleep. That's my routine now. Until today I am so bored of it, it gives me the feeling of empty. Am I going to stay like this throughout the three years? PLease don't kill me that way please.

Canberra is just so dull. I think I must hooked on something and make myself more hectic so that I won't be thinking anything. I started to be emotionious. Or maybe the environment as in the place I am living now is the main cause of what I feeling now? I think the possibility is quite high. Must be the reason!!

Anyway, I am not complaining that I am having very bad life now. Just that I am not satisfied with it. How sad. The solution would be moving out of the house? Yeahh.....I can't wait for that day to come. I applied for the on-campus acomodation, so please pray hardly for me that I can get the hall I wanted. If not, I will be dying here throughout the whole year....

Done emo, today is Gordon's birthday. So happy 20th Birthday Gordon.......Have a nice day and hope you like your birthday present from us. The ULTIMATE G-STAR RAW jacket...

Heaven-like II

The second day in Sydney I woke up around 6am. This was when the girls had their own plan~ We woke up early in the morning to go swimming and sauna because we don't want the guys to be around. We are too shy to show off our body *shy*shy*. It's been ages I didn't swim!! Only Sher Reen, Weiling and me went to swim. Three of us were too obsess with weight. Girls... But the best thing wasn't about the swimming, it's the jacuzzi pool and sauna. I felt so damn relax till I can sleep off anytime. I don't even want to leave the jacuzzi pool. So comfortable. But one thing I realized about Australia swimming pool is, they have higher percentage of chlorine in the water compared to Malaysia. My eyes got irritated because the chlorine was too strong.

Sher Reen and me after the 6am swim, jacuzzi and sauna.....Do we look better?

Do Weiling and me look slimmer? We swam lots.......

What's next after swim? A cup of coffee~~made by Weiling
Three of us were gossiping at the balcony enjoying our hot coffee..

DIM SUM DIM SUM!! My very first dim sum breakfast in Australia. I miss Dim Sum so much, the last time I ate was the day when I am flying to Australia. I wonder how it will be the Dim Sum here. We had our breakfast at this HongKong restaurant(if I am not wrong) nearby Meriton World Tower. It looks good from the outside. Don't judge the book by it's cover!! I was quite disappointed actually. It is not as nice as I thought, probably it's because it is Australia still. Overall it was just average I can say. The worst thing was their service. They definitely need workers badly. Everytime when I asked for something, they will be telling me 'please hold on, I will get another person to come'. By the time the another person came, I already don't feel like eating.

Like I mentioned in the last post, the main event for today is BONDI Beach. We are going to the beach~ We are going to the beach~ Oh beach!! I actually took a small nap while I am waiting for the others to get ready to the beach after breakfast. I was so so tired, I guess it's because of the morning swim. We took train to Westfield Bondi Junction, huge shopping mall which we will need to pass by in order to go Bondi beach. Something fantastic I found out is the train is different here. They have double decker train here. New thing to me. Maybe I am just exaggerating about things that are so common but never see before. Sorry if it's lame. So our plan is like go for a shop before we start our sun bathing. OMG!!

Upstairs and Downstairs

The middle level

Photos craze....

Westfield Bondi was indeed quite big shopping mall like One Utama in Malaysia, but there is nothing much I can shop on, another thing is the things are ermm ya kind of expensive. I couldn't afford that. So most of the time I am just doing window shoppings, how bored. Probably I am tired also, but I can see that some of us also bored. Just waiting time to go beach only. Keke.

Time's up. Bondi beach!! Very quickly we took bus there. The weather was so so so windy. If you aren't standing properly, you can really fall down. I am no joking and the waves were like so strong. There is even signboard showing strong current and live guard discouraging people to swim. Due to the strong wind and cold weather, the girls decided not to jump down into the seawater. It is really insane for people to get into the sea in such weather. We just sit by the beach blocking the wind. Can't even open our eyes to see the view. Pathetic~ However, the guys were really insane. I don't know from where they got the idea to go swim. Sitting at the side with clothes already killing me, they were like half naked and dashed into the water...Woohooo.... I can felt the coldness went through every gland of my body for them. THEY'D LOST THEIR MIND!!

The first view when you jumped down from the bus.

When walking towards the beach....Closer shot

The wind was blowing so strongly and so cold....Can you feel it? We were waiting for someone I think...

Everyone is soooo excited.....

The other side of the beach....I was sitting there.... This picture is so cool...

We saw sunset also...Just nice our timing.....The view here really amazing....

Insanes getting ready for winter swim....

COLD~~~~~

FROZEN already I think......

Me~Sher Reen~Wei Ling

Sitting on 5 star apartment's towel and blocking the wind hardly...How to enjoy the view? Open eyes only the sand will kiss our eyes. Aiks, couldn't see Mellisa in full!! Bad photographer......

OKay okay, highlight of the day. Done beach-ing, though the wind was annoying but actually it's quite comfortable to sit there. Hehe. Next thing that turned up is dinner! We went to HURRICANES in Bondi. The name already sounds so powerful, what else about the food? This one we have to made reservation earlier though. Thirteen of us ordered PORK RIBS(there is another two friends of Chua from Newcastle joined us), the nicest food there? I am not so sure, I just followed what they order only.

Full racks of pork ribs....Delicious*drooling* It is so huge that every two person share one full rack of it even the guys are sharing...

If you don't believe how huge it is, you can compare now with Nick's face.....REALLY BIG!!

Since we are paying so much for it, we even served with napkin. They actually will tie it for us but due to the excessive amount of us, we prefer doing it to save some time. Gordon-the only guy who eat full rack of the pork ribs......BIG EATER!!! Let's start the FEAST~~

After the feast....Everything was so clean....Yummmy*lickin fingers*

Saw all the bones? Shining........

Really the dinner was a fantastic one. I never had such a nice dinner in my life before. PORK RIBS PORK RIBS!! I will definitely go back there again. NO DOUBT! Everyone was so satisfied with it. This really brighten up my day.

After that, we went back to apartment to clean up ourselves and ready to visit another 'buzz' of Sydney, OPERA HOUSE. Opera House is just like our KL tower and Twin Tower in Malaysia. It symbolises Australia.

Opera House is just at the back.....

Complete group photos........Melvin, Alex, Weiling, Me, Sher Reen, Chua, Pearlyn, Gordon, Mellisa, Nick and Ryan.

I think the bridge at the back is named Sydney Bridge or something. Not too sure......Cool bridge....

Actually Opera House really got nothing much for us to hang around, so we started with all the crazy photo shots....12345678 cutie cute....

Gordon is so strong that he can actually carry Nick and Mellisa at the same time.....Buff guy and gym freak....

SWEET SWEET couple....

Owwhhh......

Everyone got so tired and wanted to go back rest so much after that. It's 12am already. Tomorrow will be our shopping day and definitely my day! I am going to meet Kelly. Yay......

P/S : Just ignore the message below as this is just To PAULINE LIM POH LING

Aunty Lim, you very troublesome. Already mentioned your name you somemore not happy with it. Need pictures somemore. I will post the ugliest one. Keke.....

Heaven-like I

TaDAaa...I haven't been update my blog for few days and I knew that Kelly is so anxious to wait for my upcoming blog. I was waiting for photos from my friends so that I can upload some for you guys to have a look that is why I am late for the new post. Sorry for making you all wait so long for it.

Well, I am currently having mid semester holiday for my first semester. So what I did is, I went to Sydney for three days trip. Sounds cool right? I never expect that there will be one day I will be in Sydney. I was so happy and excited about it especially when I know that I am going to meet Kelly there. I so wanted to meet someone who I actually know and familiar with ever since I stepped on the land of Australia.

So on the Monday morning, eleven of us took bus to Sydney at 8am. It took about three hours to reach Sydney. Along the way, I was getting more excited and keep singing only. My friend, Weiling who was sleeping beside me I think couldn't sleep well because of my "sweet&sexy" voice? I really never realized about that until Sher Reen told me that she heard someone is singing. Sher Reen was sitting two rows in front of me. OMG! I didn't know that I was that excited. Sorry guys...

What happened next is, we reached Sydney. With eleven people and all the luggages, we walked to Meriton World Tower which is 15minutes nearby I guess. You can sense the difference between Sydney and Canberra once you stepped down from the bus. There are all skyrockets around us, bunches of people walking by like rushing to somewhere for something very important, even the birds in Sydney is more than in Canberra. What a hectic city! Canberra is just so dull, you hardly see bunches of people here.

So ya, the main thing I wanted to say here is not about how hectic the city is but the apartment which will shelter eleven of us. Meriton World Tower, remember this name! It is the tallest building in Sydney, made up of 74 floors. It is also rated as five stars apartment with laundry equipments, kitchen utensils, safe box, and all the things that a house should have are provided. It is even more complete than the house that I am currently staying. GODNESS! They even have heated pool, sauna, spa and gym. Can you imagine that you actually living in heaven? This is the first time I stay in five stars apartment. I think my parents also never try this before. I was so reluctant to leave Syndey especially when I am sleeping on their king sized bed. Luxury lifestyle~

Saw that bed? How could you willing to wake up in the morning? It was so comfortable!! I jumped up on the bed already, you can never see me till we got to go out again.

I was staying in 24th floor studio room, so unfortunately for four of us. But do believe me, that bed can squeeze four of us. The guys are staying in the other three rooms apartment at 73rd floor!! What a huge gap! Even the lift that we use to get on the rooms are different. Hmmp! Their master bedroom not only have bathroom but a mini jacuzzi as well. That room is so huge until it can actually fits evelen of us. Should have stay there for few more days! The views from 73rd floor was amazing!

This is the mini jacuzzi in the master room.....So nice right...JEalousY

This is the picture that I snapped when I standing near the glasses....Cool right?

You see the view...Can see the sea...This the second highest floor...MY GOD!!

From my room, the balcony you only can see this. Somemore opposite building I think is office, night time when they on the light you can actually see through the glasses. That was so cool!! Since the girls' room is only like 24th floor we do have balcony, if 73rd floor? Who will dare to stand out the balcony? I think if the wind blows only you can fall down from there.

This is the balcony in my room!!! Coffee with cake will be perfect...

Okay, I think I crap too much on the building I am staying. Let'smove on then. After checked in, we went Fish Market to crave for our lunch. Everyone was so so so hungry. So what did we have there? Obviously FRESH SEAFOOD!!!!!! I got a shock when I reached the market, bunches of people walking in and out like pasar malam. Then inside you can see lots of stall selling all the seafood, really looks like pasar in Malaysia somemore with the fishy fishy smells. Here right you can see lots different type of seafoods, some I didn't even see before. I was pretty amazed with it because I never thought that I will be able to see such market in Australia. The seafood here selling at the cheap price as well. Worth eating!!

Scallops...Looks nice right? Nicely arranged.....

Lobsters...All are so huge, somemore this is only from a stall there is more stallls!!!

This is the oysters I ate. There is lots more but I prefer to show you all the one I ate. Hehe. I ate oysters once only in Malaysia before this and I didn't like it. The taste was like *yucks*. But this time when I tried in Fish Market, HEAVEN~~~ The taste was so so so so nice especially with their lemon. You got to try this. They also have cheese oysters, bacon oysters and lots more but I only tried original and fresh one.

These two creatures here, when I saw I really don't know what is that. I didn't even bother to ask what is it cause my food was there waiting for me already. I roughly can guess it should be relatives to crabs' family. The grey one at the side should be from lobsters' family then. Anyone know what is that please let me know ya. Thanks.

After the yummy yummy tummy tummy lunch.....FULL....

Anyways for lunch I had sashimi of FRESH king fish, salmon and tuna, FRESH oysters with lemon and some chili sauce(their chili sauce-NICE!), FRESH eels which melted when you put it inside your mouth and the taste was unforgetable!!!! Then we also have fried FRESH calamari, chewy........Can you imagine the taste as I had it? And oh ya, I only paid AUD$10.00 for that which is equivalent to RM30.00. You think did I overspent on seafood?

I've got to stopped here. If not I will be so depressed for coming back to Canberra again. After that, it's time for us to take some rest in the luxury apartment but it seems like everyone don't want rest so everyone went for a short shopping trip. Before we start our shopping, we went to this place named easy way(tea indulgence) to fulfill Weiling's enthusiasm for bubble tea with pearls. She was so crazy over it. Of course I did have one cup too, though I am not a big fan of bubble tea. I just love to chew the pearls only.

My first bubble tea in Australia...Blueberry with milk tea...taste weird at first but then after that you will find it niceeeeeee.....

Then we went to G-Star Raw, a branded shop where all the guys are crazy over it. This brand I never hear back in Malaysia but it is so famous over here in Australia. Here one jacket might just cost you around $350 average, so ya the guys are the fans of it. We were in the shop for about an hour I guess. Everyone was busy trying their jackets, I tried few jackets too. It was really cool on me, but the price wasn't friendly with my wallet. Sigh. The most funny thing is after an hour every walk out with empty hand. Only Chua's friend bought one jacket I think.

This is the brand in case any of you don't know about it.

After the craze of G-star Raw, all the boys went back to apartment to go swimming. There is few people among us who are on diet, so they felt bad after the lunch and decided to do some sports to burn off all the fats and calories consumed. What a pathetic trip. Diet? The girls went for their shopping we just didn't want to join the guys or maybe it's only me. I don't know somemore I didn't bring my swimming suit. It was quite a bored walk I think probably because everyone is tired. After that, we just went back and shower to get ready for dinner.

The first day was really cold because it rained. Abit unlucky we all. Dinner we ate at this japanese restaurant named Makoto. They said it's very nice and you can't make reservation. They have this first come first serve basis. I was thinking is it that nice? By right I shouldn't doubt about that because I know I will be having nice food if I hang out with them. Haha. We waited kind of long just to get in the restaurant, it seems like lots people is craving for it. I just ate the chicken udon there and actually it don't really taste special to me. Their speciality is their sushi I think. It was quite big and looks nice, but I didn't eat that. Everyone was telling very nice. I was too full for that. Somemore rice? CARBS!!

Dinner wasn't a really special one for me though. Our next stop will be Darling Harbour. It is one of Sydney "buzz" place. Everyone who comes to Sydney will make Darling Harbour one of their stops. It really has nice and beautiful view here at night, totally suitable for couples to darling around. Probably I can get my darling here also...

Guys of the night.....acting cool.....zzz

Beautiful right? Somemore got four leng lui brighten up the whole photo......What else can be better?

Nick seems happy.....

Since everyone is posing so nicely, so someone suggested to do jumping shot...You can't find me there, I am too.......(particular?don't know what's the word)about my image so ya. Maybe next time I should just join because I know there will be people out there who reading this now thinking ' since when this lady got image?' I know you are the one thinking that.

We took too long time in Darling Harbour taking pictures till almost out of schedule. We were supposed to head on to karaoke now!! Iwas really tired, I guess everyone is tired. Here the karaoke very funny, you need passport to get in. It's like goin clubbing like that. When I reach the Karaoke place only, I know I don't like that place already. Looks so complicated and you can see all the lala and gengster-like people walking in and out. It is like anytime there will be a gengster fight like that. Looks exactly like those in HongKong movies. But it is not that cheap also to sing here, it cost about AUD$15.00 per person for two hours. Another thing is, for VIP room they only have two mics? When we asked for more, they said more mic will affect the surrounding sounds effect. I was like zzzzzzzzzzzz..... Even Neways is much better, I shall go back Malaysia and sing!!!!!!!!! So tempted to sing!! Anyone want karaoke?

By the time karaoke seesion finished, it's already 12 something. Everyone also showing tired and pale face after a long day. Yet there is some friends want to go hang out in Star City-casino. I was tired but I wanted to follow them to have a look how's the casino here like. Probably different from Malaysia one? But I never go into casino before also, so I can't really compare. I can only compare with those I saw in TV. Haha. I don't know why I so excited for that and expected so much, ended up I kind of disappointed with what I saw. The casino is like so dead. Somemore not every table are opened. When I stepped in I thought haven't reach, I was waiting for my friend to bring me to the casino. Then he was like telling me 'ya this is the one'. I was like 'errr okay..'
So boring there for an hour do nothing, just walking around. But I did learn on roughly how to play some of the games. *laughing loud* We shall try next time.....

It's already 2 something in the midnight and we have to wake up for 9.30am breakfast tomorrow. It's time for everyone to go back and rest~~ I was so tired but at the same time excited again for tomorrow. Tomorrow should be more fun than today because everyone is going to BEACH!!!!!!

This is just the first day I reached Sydney yet I crapped so much about it. The second day will be on next post. It will be too long for you guys to read everything...Haha.

P/S : This message is only for the person named PAULINE LIM POH LING. I was requested upon her wish to mention about her name here. I mentioned your name! Happy or not? Proud? Nice? Haha. I wanted to post your picture here but unfortunately I don't have your picture only with you..
So don't be sad ya...Love you...Muakzz
